Total Sun Optimization (TSO), based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has dedicated the past 8 years to pioneering significant advancements in agricultural technology. Our innovative product integrates solar power generation with an unprecedented automated crop sunlight management system, tailored to optimize harvest yields. Beyond promoting sustainable farming practices, our mission is to enhance farmers’ revenue and economic stability.
Our History
The inception of the solar greenhouse concept traces back to Hawaii’s Oahu Island, where issues of food and electrical scarcity inspired inventor David Hinson. In 2017, CEO Mark Riggs joined the initiative to assess the technology’s commercial potential. Subsequent due diligence highlighted the viability of the technology, leading TSO to prioritize its development. Collaborations with esteemed partners such as but not limited to Cornell University’s agricultural school, Anderson Tax, and multiple Leading Dutch greenhouse development companies have enriched and accelerated our journey.
